I had the honor to have a couple of illustrations published in the latest issue of Nexos Magazine (Mexico) for a short story by Elias Canetti about his first encounter with camels in Marrakech.

This is an editorial piece I did for Chilango Magazine in Mexico City about the pleasure of reading in the bathroom.

Poor Little Marco

For the past month I've been working on a children's book project. The story I'm illustrating is called "In search of Mother" (the title in spanish is: Marco, de los Apeninos a los Andes by Edmundo de Amicis) and tells the heart-breaking adventures of little Marco, who crosses the ocean to find his missing mother.

Little Map

This is a little map of my grandparent's neighborhood in Mexico City, where I spent most of my childhood.

Azul Intangible

I had the honor to illustrate and design the poster and postcard for "Azul Intangible", a documentary film by Eréndira Acosta about the charms of the northwest Mexican seas. You can see the trailer here.

Two Portraits

Last week it was my friend Caro's birthday. My gift to her was this little portrait of her cat "Benita".


My classmates and I had to draw each other for our Thesis Show postcard. I was very lucky and got to draw the amazing Brad Soucy.

Death of a Jockey

This is part of an image a made for my Thesis Project. It is based on the story of Frank Hayes, a jockey that died of a heart attack during the course of his first race and yet, finished in first place.
